Worship Group

Active Groups
Given the shortage of ministers within the Church of Scotland at the moment and the number of Churches currently functioning without a full time minister, but obviously hopeful of being able to appoint one at some time in the future, we at Clackmannan Parish Church have initiated our own Worship Group.

The Worship Group is a small but dedicated group of volunteers from the congregation which was set up by our then Interim Moderator, Rev Jim McNeil and our Locum Minister, Rev Ray Gaston. The Worship Group met on a regular basis and received training in conducting worship which was led by Rev Jim McNeil and supported by Rev Ray Gaston and Rev Bill Izett. Members of the group have, from time to time, conducted either whole services or participated in leading some aspects of the Sunday Worship whether it be leading the service, a prayer, reading, children's talk or even a sermon.

We have no meetings arranged at the moment but if you are interested in joining the group then please make yourself known to one of the existing members or our new minister Rev Rae Clark.
