Worship Group

Active Groups
Given the shortage of ministers within the Church of Scotland at the moment and the number of Churches currently functioning without a full time minister, but obviously hopeful of being able to appoint one at some time in the future, we at Clackmannan Parish Church have initiated our own Worship Group.

The Worship Group is a small but dedicated group of volunteers from the congregation who meet on a regular basis under the guidance of our Interim Moderator, Rev Jim McNeil and our Locum Minister, Rev Ray Gaston. The group undergo training and guidance on the various aspects of Church sermon structure, content and delivery. Members of the group contribute, from time to time, to both content and delivery of specific parts of the normal Sunday Worship regardles of whether it's leading the service, a prayer, reading, children's talk or even an address.

New members to the group are most welcome to come along to our meetings, the next one being on Monday 25th february 2019 at 7.30 pm in the Bruce Memorial Hall.

At the moment the Worship Group are preparing 2 services for Easter. One will be held on Maundy Thursday 18th April with the theme "Humbled" and the other on Good Friday 19th April with the theme "Crucified".
